How to Ride the Late Night Shuttle:
1. Make sure to have your Western Card or Bus Pass with you
2. Look at the schedule in the Late Night Shuttle schedule to get an idea of when the bus will come. The Late Night Shuttle stops at all the WTA Bus Stops along its route. It does NOT stop at the Downtown Bellingham Station
3. Since it can be hard for the drivers to see you in the dark, wave at the driver as the bus approaches just to make sure he/she sees you.
4. Have your Western Card or Bus Pass ready to show to the driver as you board.
5. Airporter Shuttle vehicles are sometimes substituted for the green WWU Late Night Shuttle buses and may not display the WWU Late Night Shuttle Logo.
The WWU Late Night Shuttle is a late night bus service open only to Western students. The shuttle system consists of two routes serving Downtown Bellingham, WWU, Bill McDonald Parkway, Lincoln Creek Transportation Center and Lakeway Center.
The WWU Late Night Shuttle stops at all WTA bus stops along its route. In addition, the shuttle makes three stops downtown: Commercial St, Railroad Avenue outside the WTA station, and Railroad and Champion.
During inclement weather or emergency the Late Night Shuttle service may be temporarily adjusted or interrupted. During these times a recorded message will be added to the Sustainable Transportation office phone message system. Call 650-7960 for updates.
